University of Regina-Faculty of Nursing: Nursing Professor

The University of Regina has entered a collaborative partnership with the Saskatchewan Polytechnic (Sask Polytech) for the delivery of an innovative four year baccalaureate nursing education program in Regina and Saskatoon.As part of establishing the new bilingual option Faculty of Nursing, the University of Regina invites applications for two full time tenure-track bilingual nursing faculty positions, located in Regina.

Rank and salary are competitive and commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.

Starting date for these positions is negotiable.The successful candidates must have excellent communication skills in both French and English, comprehensive knowledge of nursing practise, evidence of a beginning program of research and publication and a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for teaching, including student advising, recruitment and retention.

Successful candidates will be expected to use a variety of teaching modalities, including offering courses on-site or by distance delivery.

Ideally, applicants will have recent (within five years) practice experience in their area of specialization.

Hiring preference will be given to candidates who have either completed a PhD or are engaged in conducting their dissertation research and expect to graduate within one of the date of their appointment.

A minimum of one graduate degree in Nursing is preferred.
