Job Duties Processing of raw field data and quality control Drafting of engineering, legal and topographical plans Draft condominium plans, subdivision plans, plan of surveys, SRPRs in Civil 3D Build contour modelling and DTMs General knowledge and use of ArcGIS Assist in preparing drafting portion of proposals Opportunity to assist in further development of in-house CAD/Mapping standards Provide technical support to internal and external clients Prepare drafting and survey reports Core Competencies Quality Orientation Time Management Creative and Innovative Thinking Accuracy and Attention to Detail Mathematical Computations Development and Continual Learning Problem Solving Accountability and Dependability Planning and Organizing Teamwork Requirements Minimum 1yearof experience in survey drafting Strong experience in legal boundary retracement Degree or Diploma in geomatics, engineering or related field from a recognized institution Extensive knowledge of Civil 3D and Trimble Office Knowledge of MTO engineering surveys standards is an asset Experience with VG4D Smart LiDAR Explorer, Inertial Explorer and ScanLook LiDAR software is an asset Demonstrate understanding of engineering and survey theories and principles Able to communicate ideas and recommendations to non-engineering/surveying team members in a clear manner Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills Able to create alternative solutions to problems Other Duties & Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned Work Conditions 40 hour work week Periodic overtime as workload and schedule permits Overtime is payable at 1.5 times hourly wage after 44 hours by Jobble
